I have most exciting news to share. You are looking at the proud new owner of a Banjo!

I made the leap this afternoon. I was debating whether to just buy one online, but decided it would be better to just buy it in person so I could play it first. I mean, I'd never buy a piano or violin without playing it first. Of course, I have no banjo playing experience and I wasn't spending a ton of money on it, but still.

Here it is, just me and my banjo. 

It's beautiful. I love it already. I'm sure I'll love it even more once I learn how to play it.

And here is our newly improved music nook.

The electric guitar is Tyler's from like 10 years ago. He's going to learn how to play it once we replace the strings.
